Our Story, Vision, Values & Leadership
Our Story
Greater Glory Family Ministries (GGFM) was birthed in 2018 after God's clear confirmation to Reverend Joshua Kamulegeya to serve His people, despite his initial resistance. In that pivotal season, the Lord directed him to the community of Bukerere in Seeta town, Mukono district.
There, Rev. Joshua, alongside his dedicated wife, started a local church with just three other members. What began as a humble gathering soon blossomed, and the church grew steadily in attendance to over 40 devoted individuals.
However, just a few months after launching GGFM in Bukerere, the world was hit by the unforeseen COVID-19 pandemic. All congregational gatherings in Uganda were suspended for a period of two challenging years, testing the faith and resilience of our nascent ministry.
In 2021, following the easing of the lockdown, we relaunched the ministry. Despite an initial drop in attendance due to the prolonged hiatus, we thank God for His unwavering grace and faithfulness. Our attendance has now grown miraculously to over 200 passionate people, supported by a dedicated leadership team of 25 individuals. This growth is a testament to God's hand and the commitment of our GGFM family.

Meet the Founder: Reverend Joshua Kamulegeya
Reverend Joshua Kamulegeya
Founder & Senior Pastor
Passionate, hardworking, and effective are just a few of the words that describe the anointing on Reverend Joshua Kamulegeya. Prior to being called into full-time ministry, Joshua was employed for seven years by Uganda Microcredit Foundation, where he was acclaimed for his work.
He married Kusasiira Rhemmah in 2016, and together they now joyfully raise three children. In 2018, he responded to the Lord's profound call to ministry. He then underwent a rigorous series of ministerial and pastoral trainings, and immediately upon completion, he was ordained as a reverend by EPEFU (Elim Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Uganda).
Joshua began his ministry journey on the pastoral Forum of Lugazi Pastors and Elders Forum (LUPEF), a large unity of churches in the entire region of Buikwe district, where he served as the youth patron. He also served on the Pastoral team at Faith Mountain Church and later with Gap Filler Church in Mukono district. He now devotes himself full-time to ministry as the founder and senior pastor of GREATER GLORY FAMILY MINISTRIES UGANDA (GGFM) and as a missions and outreach facilitator.
He believes God to open doors for GGFM to be able to transform people's lives through evangelism and discipleship. Rev. Joshua is passionate about equipping all saints in the study of scripture, prayer, fellowship, and learning to listen to the voice of God, all driven with the passion of releasing the "next generation" into the Kingdom of God. Joshua's love for God's Word enables him to serve the Lord with the goal of transforming a life to transform lives.
